Career Week finished up on the 30th of November

On Friday, the 30th of November, the Department of Youth organized the final day of Career week and made a of non-formal education event for all city pupils "Challenge of professional schools."

The event is held for the second consecutive year and has become a popular and respected among young people, as it has not only educational nature, but is constructed in the form of game, where the youth by competing get acquainted to a variety of professions that are offered by professional schools of the city.

This year, the informal event was attended by 10 teams, each of which had 10 participants. During the day, the young people visited the vocational schools of the city, got acquainted to the proposed educational programs of each institution and participated in games and contests that were prepared by students and teachers of vocational schools.

At the conclusion of the event, young people come together to find out the final results and congratulate the winning team together. By results of competition, winner of the first place and owner of maximum number of points was the 3 secondary school team "Premium", the second place won Daugavpils State Gymnasium team "No desmit desmit", and the third place went to the team 10 secondary school "Evrika"!

Participants of all teams received certificates for their participation and sweets, and the winning team was awarded with cups, diplomas and pleasant gifts!

Department of Youth thanks vocational schools who responded, helped and participated actively in the organization of the event:

- Daugavpils Medical College

- Daugavpils vocational school of Commerce.

Youth Department also thanks all youth teams for active participation and positive team spirit!
