Big carnival procession of school students was held on the second day of Christmas
On the 26th of December, the second day of Christmas, a mass carnival procession of Daugavpils schools' students took its placethe first time in Daugavpils. It was attended by more than 1,200 students of secondary schools of Daugavpils. Masks marched through from Vienības square on Rigas street to Daugavpils Ice Hall.

On the 12th of December Social Affair Department opened a charity exhibition-fair at Daugavpils City Council.
The exhibition presents numerous souvenirs, original and useful household items, and jewelry from beads, fabrics, and pieces of needlework. All of these remarkable works are made by hands of Day center clients of social care and rehabilitation center "World of opportunities", the orphans of shelter "Priedīte".
