Newlyweds and the couple celebrating their golden wedding opened the "Love Tree”

The opening of "Love Tree" inDaugavpilswas entrusted the newly established young family, Jekaterina and Aleksandrs Belavskis and golden anniversary pair Irena and Bronislavs Kokins.

The author of the “Love Tree” – is head artist of Daugavpils Jūris Pundurs.

Speaking to the assembled, Daugavpils City Council Vice-Chairman Līvija Jankovska said, "Love must have a symbol, and we have in the city this tree, it is very solid and strong, able to withstand any wind gusts. On this tree - many evidences of love, locks, which indicate strong families. I hope that soon on the tree will not be the free space where to hang these locks, but our artist promises that this tree is sure to grow up, and branches on it will become more and more! "

L. Jankovska handed thanks letters to family of Belyavski and wished them good health. She read greetings fromDaugavpilsCity Council Chairperson Žanna Kulakova, where is emphasized that for the development ofDaugavpilsit is very important to have a lot of young people, children and new families, because they are the future of the city. Therefore, a true joy is to congratulate the young family in a beautiful holiday - the day of their wedding.

Daugavpils City Council Diplomas were given to the Kokins family as well, which is celebrating their golden wedding. Mrs. Jankovska emphasized that in order to celebrate it, should be a lot of love, respect and the ability to save his family.

Following the wishes of Līvija Jankovska, both pairs to avoid rusting, and only become stronger than their love locks attached to branches, "Tree of Love."

Head of Civil Registry Helena Soldatenoka told that the idea of such symbol inDaugavpilswas born long ago and expressed joy that it is implemented.
