The first meeting of the project “Challenges of Regional Centres: Depopulation Control, Development – best practices” (DeCoDe) to be held in Daugavpils
This year on May 23-24 Daugavpils City Council as the Lead Partner of DeCoDe project will host the meeting for partners from seven countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Romania, Italy, Denmark and Spain. This will be the first meeting of the project. The project is implemented within the framework of the 2nd strand "Democratic Engagement and Civic Participation" action 2.2 “Networks of Towns” of the European Union programme "Europe for Citizens".

International project’s “Recruit potential” meeting was held in Daugavpils
Within the frameworks of the project Recruit potential (“Recruit potential – VET measures for Inclusive Employers”) international project partners meeting “Employers as Educators” was held in Daugavpils from April 18th till 19th. Project is being implemented by 5 partners from 5 different countries – Sweden, Portugal, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Latvia and is financed by the EU program “ERASMUS+”. Lead partner is Skelleftea municipality in Sweden.

Let’s bring Europe closer to our citizens – project “Challenges of Regional Centres: Depopulation Control, Development – best practices” (DeCoDe), Nr.595269-CITIZ-1-2017-2-LV-CITIZ-NT has launched!
Daugavpils City Council, as a lead partner, together with project partners from different EU countries and cities, has launched the DeCoDe project in the framework of the Measure “Networks of Towns” of Action 2 “Democratic Engagement and Civic Participation” of the European Union programme “Europe for Citizens”. The project involves 8 partners from 8 countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Romania, Italy, Denmark and Spain.
