Nordic youth film festival in Daugavpils

Before the end of the school year from 22 until 26 of May Nordic Embassies in Latvia invite children and youngsters to the Nordic youth film festival in Daugavpils. The screening will take place in the University of Daugavpils, Vienibas street 13, room 308. Entrance to the event is free of charge.

The vast festival’s program includes 12 different films from Nordic countries from the past five years. Preschool and primary school children are welcome to attend Danish and Swedish animation films, while secondary school and older children will be treated to Swedish, Norwegian and Danish short films and fiction. The program also features two documentaries about Finland and its nature.

The Nordic youth film festival in Daugavpils is organised by the Embassy of Denmark, Danish Culture Centre, Embassy of Norway, Embassy of Finland and Embassy of Sweden in collaboration with University of Daugavpils, Norwegian Film Institute and the Swedish Institute.
