Žanna Kulakova participated at the presentation of the movie „Latgale. Three stories”

On 31^st of January administration of Latgale Planning Region and Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development organized presentation of movie “Latgale. Three stories”  The presentation was opened by State Secretary of Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development Aleksandrs Antonovs, administration of Latgale Planning Region and Chairperson of Daugavpils city council Žanna Kulakova.

The aim of the movie was to show possibilities of Latgale, dispel stereotypes about Latgale and show the potential. Chairperson of Daugavpils city council Žanna Kulakova highly appreciates the idea.

“Our greatest wealth is the people and it is very well shown in this movie. In Latgale we see creative, talented and patriotic people. Movie popularizes topicalities of Latgale, show possibilities of the region which is very important. If we all together – here in Latgale and in the government will work together then everything will work out,” said Žanna Kulakova.

Žanna Kulakova admits that government Latgale Support Program is important step towards Latgale development and it shows government’s willingness to help and interest in the future of Latgale region.
