On the 5th of October Daugavpils will bring together architects of Baltic countries

The culmination of celebrations of the passing International Architects days inDaugavpilswill be a big conference of architects.

This yearDaugavpilswas chosen as a city of conference, so the city will bring together the architects from different Baltic countries.  Topic of the days of architecture is "Architect changes the city."

There will be two exhibitions. Not only architects, but also constructors, designers are invited to the event, because the environment of the city is created not only by the architects.

On the 5^th of October the Days of Architects will be opened at 11.00 in the Conference Hall of the Daugavpils City Council. After this a conference will be held. At 12.30 Latvian architectural exhibition 2011 will open; at 18.00 the last academic year’s best diploma works among Baltic countries will be presented and awarded.

The chief architect of Daugavpils Inga Ancāne expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the organizers of the event opened the alley of benches during the preparation for the conference in Daugavpils, which got so much-liked, that  the pictures of it are placed on the cover of the invitation booklet.
