This summer the city will have new playgrounds

On 31st of May Public Utilities Department has signed an agreement with the company „Enlife”- the winner of the procurement procedure, to perform the order of Daugavpils municipality, which includes five different positions.

On the peninsula in the park „Esplanade” seven-meter mesh pyramid with additional gaming units for children 5-14 years old and 5 items of equipment for children up to five years will be settled.

The company is committed to deliver and install the equipment - gym and a games complex mesh playground - near the 16-th secondary high school in the district of New Forshtadt.

Children's playground in the form of a boat of 12 meters long and a width of 3.6 meters wide will be installed on the city beach "Stropu Vilnis". The equipment is designed for children aged from 3 to 14 years old.

Agreement also provides the supply and installation of equipment in the square “Slavi”: laying synthetic rubberized coating and the installation of two additional elements - rotating pyramid and roundabouts for children with special needs.

In addition, the contractor is obligated to deliver and replace 22 kinds of defective equipment on existing children's playgrounds in different districts of the city.

As a result of the procurement procedure, the total cost of the improvement works amounted to a bit more than 144 500 euros (without VAT).  Delivery time - not later than 60 days from the date of signing the contract.
