The company “Zieglera Mašīnbūve” celebrated the 15th anniversary

15 years ago German company “Zieglera Mašīnbūve” started to work in Daugavpils. Owner Martin Ziegler substantiates that the main determinants for his choice for Daugavpils were close range of Russia and CIS, quantity of needed specialists. On the 1^st of December, 1997 the limited liability company “Zieglera Mašīnbūve” was founded. On the 15^th of February, 2013 festive event dedicated to the anniversary took place at the Latvian Cultural Centre.

Company owner Martin Ziegler, Chairperson of Daugavpils city council Žanna Kulakova, company’s business partners and employees attended the celebration.

Martin Ziegler is satisfied that the right decision has been taken and a plant has been opened in Daugavpils. Company has a potential and now already 400 employees work there, but there are opportunities for development.

Congratulating the company’s collective with the anniversary, Chairperson of Daugavpils city council Žanna Kulakova emphasized that “Zieglera Mašīnbūve” is one of the most significant companies. It is pleasure to hear that the owner of company and administration sees opportunities for development and this is very good information for municipality. Daugavpils city council as one of the priorities has chosen the support for entrepreneurship, because this is the right way to develop the city’s economy. Žanna Kulakova expressed appreciation for successful cooperation and obliging attitude towards Daugavpils city activities.
